Emma Morgan got the shock of her life when boyfriend Oliver Thompson proposed to her by using a six-tonne elephant.Emma, 23, was spending the day at Blackpool Zoo, Lancs, when Marcella the Asian elephant walked over and handed her a ribbon - with an ring on it.
As she turned in confusion to boyfriend Oliver Thompson, 25, he pulled out a diamond engagement ring and said "Will you marry me?"
Emma, an optical assistant at Specsavers, burst into tears as she accepted.
She said: "It was a lovely proposal - I was very surprised. We had spoken about marriage before and I knew it was coming one day - but I never expected it to be today - and in this way!"
